Justine Smetham, Chief Executive OfficerGeneral Manager

With 15 years senior human resource management experience in state, national and global organisations across various sectors including professional services, retail, personnel services and sport and recreation, Justine is proud to lead such a dedicated and talented team in CPE Group.

Justine’s strengths lie in identifying opportunities to improve business performance. Driven to grow CPE Group business through client and employee attraction, retention and engagement, and with a Masters Degree in Leadership and Management, Justine is passionate about business excellence. Justine has been recognised for her commitment to previous employers through various business and industry awards including Sport and Recreation Industry Award for Commitment to Training and nominated for Telstra and Deloitte Business Woman of the Year awards.

Katy McBeath, NSW and QLD Manager

Katy McBeath

Katy’s initial career path and educational background was in Accounting and Economics but quickly progressed into Customer Service, Operations, Sales and Marketing and Business Development spanning over 20 years experience in the Car Rental service industry.  Since relocating to Brisbane, mid 2007, Katy has worked as a Business Development Manager, a National Sales Manager and contracted as a Marketing Consultant.   In 2009 the primary focus of Katy’s career shifted to the Healthcare Industry working with intellectually and physically disabled.  Her passion for caring for people has motivated Katy to continue to pursue a career in line with the Healthcare Industry.  Katy now leads the NSW and QLD operations for CPE Group.

Andrea Daley, Healthcare Operations Manager

Andrea Daley originally gained 20+ years experience in Call Centre Management in the UK working for Barclays Bank PlC. She worked through the ranks of call centre advisor, team leader, trainer, supervisor, technical manager, finance manager into the role of Contact Centre Manager before being headhunted by an outsourced Title arm of United Utilities. Whilst at Barclays she achieved an NVQ level 4 in Management from the University of Manchester.  At United Utilities Andrea  was nominated and shortlisted as Manager of the Year.  She left United Utilities to come to Australia  with her husband and son and  was recruited by Bankwest to head up their Sales call centre in Northbridge.  Andrea believes that CPE Group provides exceptional service and she is intent to continually strive develop better solutions for our clients and build staff engagement.

Simon Laurenson, Recruitment Operations Manager

Originally qualified as a Registered Nurse in New Zealand, Simon worked in a range of roles before moving into the Telecommunications Industry in Australia.  After gaining sales, management and leadership skills Simon entered the recruitment industry where he took up a role as a generalist recruiter with a global recruitment agency working with organisations such as Telstra, Western Australian Government, CBA, NAB, Citi Smith Barney, Qantas and Health Services Australia.

Recruitment Operations Manager

Simon believes in lifelong learning having completed certificates and is progressing with a Bachelor of Business with a major in Human Resources.  He is an Accredited Professional Recruiter through the RCSA.
